Online Quran Teacher Team: Ijazah-Qualified Male and Female Tutors

Every online Quran teacher at LQO holds an Ijazah in Quran recitation, explains lessons in English and teaches one student at a time. Our team of 50+ teachers includes both men and women.

Most of our teachers have taught the Quran for more than 10 years, and you can learn with your matched teacher free for a week.

How Matching Works

How Do We Match You With the Right Online Quran Tutor?

We match each student to a quran tutor by course, current level, age, preferred gender and time zone. A Hifz student, a 5-year-old starting the Qaida and an adult working on Tajweed each need a different teacher.

Your first class is a level check. If the match is not right after the free week, tell us and we suggest another teacher.

Ijazah

What Does a Teacher's Ijazah Mean for Your Lessons?

An Ijazah means the teacher recited to a qualified teacher of their own, who confirmed their recitation was accurate and gave them permission to teach it. It is a licence earned by reciting, not a certificate earned by attending.

For you, it means corrections come from someone whose own recitation has been checked letter by letter. You are welcome to ask your teacher about their Ijazah in the free week.

Male and Female

Can You Choose a Male or Female Teacher?

Yes. We have qualified, experienced quran teachers of both genders. Many families choose a female teacher for girls and mothers, and a male teacher for older boys and men.

You can choose differently for each family member, and change later if your needs change. Our female Quran teacher page explains more about learning with a woman teacher.

Questions

What Else Do Students Ask About Our Teachers?

Still have a question? Our team answers on WhatsApp and will help you pick the right course and time.

Can I see my teacher’s details before starting?

Yes. Ask our team when booking and we will share your matched teacher’s name and background. You then meet your Quran teacher online, live, in the first class of your free week.

Can I change my teacher later?

Yes. If you want a different style, gender or time, message our team. We arrange a new teacher for you, so your lessons continue without a long gap.

Are all your teachers Huffaz?

Many of our teachers have memorized the whole Quran, and every teacher holds an Ijazah in recitation. Hifz students are always matched with a teacher who is a Hafiz or Hafiza.

Is an online teacher better than a Quran teacher near me?

It depends on what is available locally. Online, you choose from qualified teachers without travel, and one-to-one lessons fit your day. Local classes add community, so some families use both.

Do your teachers teach in Urdu as well as English?

Lessons are explained in English by default. Our teachers are from Pakistan, so families who prefer Urdu explanations can ask for them when booking the free week.

How do I choose the best online Quran tutor?

Check for an Ijazah, clear English, patience with your age group and private lessons. Then take a free trial and watch whether the teacher corrects every mistake kindly.
