Why Women Choose a Female Teacher
Choosing a female Quran teacher is about comfort and privacy, not quality, because every teacher is held to the same recitation standard.
You can keep your camera on at home without arranging hijab for a male teacher on the screen.
Many sisters find it easier to raise their voice, repeat and make mistakes in front of another woman.
One teacher can teach a mother and her daughters in back-to-back classes, so the family moves together.
Daytime slots fit around school runs, naps and housework, as well as evenings and weekends.

What You Can Study
Our online Quran classes for women cover every course we teach: Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz, translation, Tafseer and Islamic studies.
Women returning to the Quran after years away usually begin with a short Qaida revision, then move straight into reading from the Mushaf with Tajweed.
Girls who want to memorize the whole Quran can follow a full Hifz plan with a Hafiza, a woman who has memorized all 30 juz herself.
Women as Teachers
Yes. After the Quran was gathered into written sheets under Abu Bakr, they were kept by Hafsa bint Umar, and Uthman used her copy to produce the standard Mushaf (Sahih al-Bukhari 4986).
Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, was one of the main teachers of the companions, and Umm Waraqah was known for having memorized the Quran. Women teaching women is part of that same line, and it continues today in homes, madrasas and online classes across the world.

Our Female Teachers
Our female teachers teach from Pakistan, explain every lesson in English and recite in Arabic, and each holds an Ijazah in Quran recitation.
Each profile shows her courses and years of teaching. If her style does not suit you, tell us during the free week and we will suggest another teacher.
Period Days
Yes, with a changed lesson. Scholars hold different views on reciting from the Mushaf during menstruation, so tell your teacher which view you follow.
On those days she can switch to listening practice, makharij drills on single letters, Tajweed rules or the meaning of a surah, so your progress does not stop for a week.

Comparison
A male teacher teaches the same courses with the same Ijazah standard. The difference is mostly about comfort at home.
| Question | Female Teacher | Male Teacher |
|---|---|---|
| Correction of recitation | Same standard | Same standard |
| Camera during class | Usually on, no hijab needed | Often off, or with hijab |
| Teaching mother and daughter | Easy to share one teacher | Less common for families |
| Private questions | Easier to ask openly | Some women hold back |
| Young boys | A common first teacher | Often chosen as boys grow older |
You can say which you prefer for each family member when you book, and change it later if your needs change.

Local female teachers are often hard to find and fully booked. Online, you choose from qualified women teachers without travel, and lessons fit your day instead of a fixed local timetable.
Yes. Many young boys start with a female teacher for the Qaida and early reading. Families usually decide later, as the boy grows, whether to continue with her or move to a male teacher.
