Why Canadian Families Learn Online
Statistics Canada’s 2021 Census counted nearly 1.8 million Muslims, 4.9% of the population. Outside the big cities, a qualified Quran teacher can be hours away.
No driving to the masjid through snow and early darkness. Classes carry on from home all winter.
Families in the Prairies, the North or Atlantic Canada get the same teacher quality as Toronto.
Children raised in Canada get every rule explained in English, alongside correct Arabic recitation.
Provinces and Time Zones
Canada spans six time zones, so we book every class in your own local time. Tell us your province and the hours you prefer.
| Time Zone | Provinces | Example Cities |
|---|---|---|
| Newfoundland (NT) | Newfoundland and Labrador | St. John’s |
| Atlantic (AT) | Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island | Halifax, Moncton |
| Eastern (ET) | Ontario, Quebec | Toronto, Mississauga, Ottawa, Montreal |
| Central (CT) | Manitoba, Saskatchewan | Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon |
| Mountain (MT) | Alberta | Calgary, Edmonton |
| Pacific (PT) | British Columbia | Vancouver, Surrey |
Newfoundland runs half an hour ahead of Atlantic time, and most of Saskatchewan does not change its clocks. We set each class with these quirks in mind.

Language
Our teachers explain lessons in English, not French. Recitation itself is in Arabic, so French-speaking children who understand basic English usually follow the lessons well.
If your child speaks only French, tell us before the free week and we will check whether a lesson in simple English will work for them.
Our teachers are Ijazah-qualified and teach from Pakistan. Families with roots in Pakistan, India or Bangladesh will recognise the Noorani Qaida and the Indo-Pak Mushaf they use, while families from Arab or African backgrounds can tell us which Mushaf they read at home.
Courses and Fees
Families who learn Quran online Canada wide choose from Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz, translation, Tafseer and Islamic studies.
Plans are priced in US dollars, from $30 a month for weekend classes to $65 for a lesson every weekday. Your bank converts the fee to Canadian dollars.

School Year and Ramadan
Families taking online Quran classes Canada wide often add lessons in July and August, moving to the weekday plan to push reading or Hifz ahead before school returns in September.
During March Break and winter break, classes continue unless you ask us to move them. Tell us your dates early and your teacher plans around them.
In Ramadan, many families shift lessons to just before iftar or after Taraweeh. Message us a week ahead and we adjust the slot with your teacher.
When clocks change in March and November, your class may move by an hour because Pakistan keeps the same time all year. We confirm the new time with you first.
